Sentra Specials

Defying Expectations
When you hear the words “compact car,” you might not expect much room for passengers and cargo. The Nissan Sentra delivers on both, however, with user friendly features and legendary gas mileage as well.
Experiencing the Sentra’s agile handling, smooth ride, and fine interior might also lead one to suspect a premium price tag, but Nissan’s versatile compact delivers a remarkable value at a modest price.
If you would like to see this cool compact for yourself, come by our dealership today to take it for a test drive. At Tom Naquin Nissan, we carry the Sentra and many other cars, trucks, and SUVs, all ready to cruise the streets of Elkhart. Whether you’re searching for a reliable commuter or any other Nissan, we’ll help you find what you need.

What’s New in the 2023 Nissan Sentra?
It’s nice to know that when you drive a Nissan, you’re always getting quality. In fact, Nissan regularly updates its models so you can have the most comfortable ride possible. There were some changes to the 2023 Nissan Sentra, though most were minor and mostly cosmetic. In fact, the Sentra has stayed about the same since its last major revision in 2020. At that time, manual transmission was no longer available. The engine also got larger and more powerful, and it remains so today. Other 2020 changes included a new suspension system and a redesign of the interior. For example, the materials and upholstery were of higher quality. Plus, there were technology upgrades at this time, including more entertainment and driver-assisted safety features.
History of the Sentra
First impressions are extremely important in the U.S. automotive market, and the Nissan Sentra certainly entered on a high note. Nissan released the Sentra in North America in 1982, making it the second vehicle to hit the market with a Nissan nameplate. Within its first years on the road, the Sentra reached two major milestones. The EPA ranked the Sentra’s gas mileage as top of the list among gas-powered engines at the time, and it also became the best-selling import in the North American market in its first year available.
The Sentra grew and adapted to the market over the following years, evolving from a value-loaded subcompact into the larger compact that it is today. Nissan updated the body style in 1989, and revealed an entirely new redesign ten years later. Through all of its changes, it retained its prized fuel-efficiency and added to its value with the addition of more high-end features and technology.
