The cabin of the 2023 Nissan Altima comes with an even mix of luxurious appointments, a high-tech infotainment system, and premium equipment.

Power and Performance of the 2023 Nissan Altima

The 2023 Nissan Altima comes with a range of powertrain options, including two four-cylinder powertrains, a 2.0-liter Variable Compression (VC) Turbo, or an advanced 2.5-liter DOHC engine.

The 2023 Nissan Altima SR front-wheel drive model uses the VC-Turbo engine that makes 248 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. The rest of the lineup has the 2.5-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder direct injection engine. The front-wheel-drive models get 188 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque, while the all-wheel-drive units receive 182 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque.

All engines of the 2023 Nissan Altima models send power to the wheels via an Xtronic transmission. Paddle shifters are standard in the Altima SR grade.
